Compton Abbas airfield is hosting an MG Cars and Coffee Breakfast Meeting on Saturday 28 February – the event is being run in conjunction with the MG Car Club South West Centre but is open to anyone with an MG.
The informal event runs from 9.30am until 11.30am and the outdoor Smoking Barrells Cabin will be open for refreshments such as, light bites, baps and cakes. For those wanting a full breakfast, the main Lore of the Sky Restaurant will be available although it is advised to book in advance to be certain of getting a table. There is also the opportunity to stay on for lunch, but again booking is recommended.
For those who have not been there before, Compton Abbas airfield is located at Ashmore which is on the road between Blandford and Shaftsbury and is an enjoyable run out in the country.
This is the first of three MG breakfast meetings at Compton Abbas Airfield the following dates are on: Saturday 02 May and Sat 01 August.
