Gurston Down hillclimb near Salisbury – including class for MGs – Saturday 05 July
Andy Munden is once again volunteering to co-ordinate a club group visit to the event.
The organisers have arranged a discount for 1020 club members using an on-line booking code so that advance tickets are priced at £10 per person instead of the normal adult rate of £12.50 (or £15 on the gate on the day).
As in previous year’s the plan is for club members to assemble at the Horton Inn at 9.30an on Saturday 05 July and travel in convoy (15 minute journey) so that we can be parked together in a reserved area – its then a free day to watch the action up the hill.

Adrian Mullins has negotiated a special price of £95 per night for a double room Bed and Breakfast (rooms normally about £105 plus £10 for breakfast). Singles £75. The hotel has confirmed if people want longer stays this rate will apply.
A non-refundable deposit is required of £50 by 31 December to book a room for the three nights (option of just Saturday and Sunday) – book direct to the hotel not 1020 – quoting “Mullins MG” party.
Tamar Valley MGOC People and Places Run – Open to all ages of MG and to non-MGs as well. Start and finish point yet to be announced, likely cost £30 per car. Route between 70 and 100 miles.

Hotel Details – Moorland Hotel (Samil) near the village of Wotter, it is a three star hotel with Trip advisor giving it 4.5 out of 5 (685 reviews). They are also offering the option of a three-course evening meal for £27 per person (again a negotiated price). They can do vegetarian and Gluten free alternatives if needed. They have plenty of parking place and they would even put in portable cctv for the cars if needed.
