The now traditional January club night skittles match proved as popular as ever with most club members trying their hand at knocking down as many of the nine skittles as possible – no one achieved a perfect score but there were a few eights. Top scorer after the two round contest was Gillian Hales (pictured) who won the competition with the last ball of the match taking down the one skittle she needed to top the score sheet.The additional game of killer was a tense affair with three bowlers into the final round all aiming for just one skittle. Getting his eye in first to win was a jubilant Alan Cosgrove (pictured).
