Club night Monday 7th May

This Bank Holiday Monday meeting was well attended for the showing of a short film tracing the early life of Enzo Ferrari and his ambition to win the 1951 British Grand Prix. This powerful film portrayed how dangerous motor racing was in the past when drivers did not have helmets, seat belts or a safe method of fuel storage. Many races were marred by loss of life of both drivers and spectators.
