The Inter Club Quiz for the DHMC Challenge Shield took place at the Hamworthy Sports Club hosted again by 1020 as holders of the trophy. 13 teams took part, representing 11 different car clubs. The format of the quiz used again was “Quizgo” operated for us by semi- professional quizmasters making proceedings very fair and unbiased. This year 1020 entered only 1 team. Our players put up a sterling performance but could not beat the combined knowledge of the eventual winners. The double team representing the Dorset Historic Motor Club won all 4 rounds of the quiz between them.
The challenge shield was reunited with the club who initially set up the competition and provided the trophy for the annual quiz. It was a very pleasant evening which gave us the opportunity to meet again members of other local car clubs.
