Winchester MGOC organised a great day out at their new venue, Sir Harold Hillier gardens at Romsey, for this year’s Cobweb Spin. Although the weather was cold it remained dry during our visit. 4 cars had travelled in convoy from Bournemouth and 8 cars in total from 1020 made the trip to Romsey. After setting up the club flag and taking the obligatory photo we made our way into the coffee shop in Jermyn’s House. We then enjoyed a walk through the winter gardens to the main restaurant and garden centre. En route we passed a wide selection of Winchester club cars parked along one of the main pathways. They later took part in a mass drive away. The event was very well organised and an opportunity to see some lovely cars in different surroundings.
