Christmas Lunch 2019

The now traditional 1020 Christmas lunch at the Walhampton Arms at Lymington on Sunday 08 December was another huge success with 74 club members sitting down to the carvery lunch, assorted deserts and tea and coffee.

A few hardy couples braved the high winds and forecast of rain to bring out their classics – several of them decorated for the occasion and our dedicated parking area was well represented by MGs of all ages. Also on show was the latest model from MG, the HS Sports Utility, which attracted a lot of attention.

Another goodie packed Christmas Hamper donated by Wendy Brooks raised £130 for the Salvation Army Christmas appeal and was won by Gina Neate, while the bumper main raffle raised a whopping £207 for our two charities.

Members excelled themselves once again in their donations for the Salvation Army Christmas Appeal for the homeless of Bournemouth giving items such as warm clothing, small toiletries and non-perishable food items.
