Westival, the West Moors Community Day on Saturday 13 July was a new venture for 1020 with a baker’s dozen of club cars taking part in the modest classic car element of the event.
The line-up of MGs, certainly the most colourful on show, included a strong contingent of MGBs as well as MGFs and TFs – for several new club members this was their first outing with the club and a gentle introduction to life at summer shows.
Packed with the usual array of fete favourites such as tombola stalls, face painting, games and food stalls, Westival also featured pony rides (strictly for the children), a mini fun-fair and ferret racing.
