Our October club night is the official birthday of 1020, which started in 1984 and is also the date of our AGM.
The standing committee were re-elected, unopposed, for another year. The second charity for our support was confirmed as Macmillan Caring Locally and will run alongside our long term charity, The Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance for 2014 / 2015. Chris Adamson was a very worthy winner of the Charlton Shield, presented to the Club Member of the Year as voted for by the members. This was the second year that this trophy has been presented and sponsored by Heather and Bill Charlton. On completion of the AGM, members were tested with a two part motoring related quiz, put together for us by John Heath. The winner, with the highest combined score was Fizz Gee, who received a box of chocolates for her efforts.
