Chris Adamson, our newsletter editor and committee member gave us a very interesting talk on his ‘Life with Cars’. Having worked for the Bournemouth Echo for 20 years as the motoring correspondent, Chris is now a freelance motoring journalist and Honorary Secretary of the Guild of Motoring Writers. His illustrated talk covered his motoring life, family memories and some of the more notable car launches that he has taken part in, many of these involving travel to some very exotic destinations. The photos and video that Chris provided covered from him sitting on a pony (1 horsepower) to a Mazda launch where he flew a stunt aircraft. The talk was very warmly received by the membership and provided a most interesting evening’s entertainment, thank you Chris.
