Although rather breezy and cool 71 members assembled on the quay at Poole for the cruise and supper followed by the last night of this year’s firework nights. The fish and chips were delivered on time to our boat and we enjoyed a trip around the harbour before ending up in sight of Poole Quay very close to the barge where the fireworks were set off from. The display was very enjoyable, they always seem to go a little bit further on the last night. There were quite a lot of ooh’s and aah’s from the audience. I would like to thank Roger Leach for taking on the task of selling the tickets and collating the food order.
