Motoring Extravaganza at Breamore House

On a very hot day, Sunday 21st July, 28 cars arrived at Breamore House to park on our club stand. The gazebo was erected to provide some welcome shade, tables and chairs were set out and members proceeded to enjoy the day. There is always a good selection of cars at this show which is organised by the Poole Bay Classics Club. There were also 36 trade stands offering a very wide choice of goods for sale. All the participating clubs were asked to provide a selection of cars to parade in the arena; we were first in at 2.00 pm, with a selection of 6 cars. One of our newer members, Brian Brown, won the award for ‘Best in Class’ with his 1955 MG TF 1500. He also won a similar award at the Wessex Classic Car Show organised by the Jaguar Enthusiasts Club. On the day 4 new members joined the club. I thank all of you who attended for helping to make this a very successful shop window for 1020.
