The most anticipated weekend of the year, for many MGB owners, was the 50th Anniversary celebrations of this iconic model.
Organised jointly by the MG Owners’ Club and the MG Car Club the event was held at Blenheim Palace on Sunday 23rd September. 10 cars from our club joined around 2500 MGBs, gathered on the lawns of this magnificent venue, supported by many other MG models from across the years.
As expected the weather was cold and wet for most of the day spoiling a unique gathering which took the organisers 2 years of planning to set up. It was disappointing to have to leave early but we can say that “we were there” on that very special day,
