An Evening with Mike Allison at Haynes Museum

An Evening with Mike Allison

“My Life with MG”

Mike Allison will be at the Museum on Tuesday 16th May at 7pm to give an in-depth talk about his varied and fascinating career in association with MG. Working alongside the likes of Reg Jackson once Chief Inspector for MG, Designer Syd Enever, and John Thornley former president of the MG Car Club and many others, Mike is now arguably the leading authority on the history of MG.

Throughout the talk Mike will also give the opportunity for the audience to ask questions about his long career working with MG spanning more than 40 years. Towards the end of the evening Mike will be available to sign copies of his book ‘The Works MGs ’ which is will be on sale in the museum throughout the evening.

The museum will be open all evening from 5:30pm – 9:30 and is home of the largest international collection of motor cars from around the world in the UK. For those interested in a nostalgic trip down memory lane, the museum offers a host of familiar names such as Austin, MG, and Morris. Whilst for those seeking something more exotic there is a vast array of performance cars, from modern classics such as the Dodge Viper and the Ferrari 360 Modena, to the more historic Jaguar E Type and AC Cobra. Also on show is a large collection of American cars, including the jewel in the crown of Haynes – the million-dollar Duesenberg.

Tickets for the evening are on sale now at £7.50, which includes the talk, museum entry from 5:30 and Tea/Coffee and biscuits. PLEASE BOOK IN ADVANCE.
